The band perform originals from their SpinOut Records releases as well as rockabilly/surf covers by the Barracudas, Trashmen, Shangri-Las, and Freddie Cannon. The 99ers have just released the Minnesota Day EP which is all songs about the Twin Cities and Minnesota which are featured in their energetic live set."The Wishing Wells play upbeat piano driven garage-pop with co-ed vocals. The four piece band is fronted by a couple and sing rock pop songs with heart-on-sleeve lyrics. Singer, Allison A., plays melodic keyboards while singer/guitarist, Chris Cave, bounces and pogoes across the stage in lively fits of country-punk outpourings." |

The Minneapolis Indie Xpo is bringing the Twin Cities its first independent comic book show on Saturday, August 21st, 9am-5pm at The Soap Factory. Help us get things started on Friday, August 20th, with a signing event and kick-off party! 6-8pm signing at Big Brain Comics with Zak Sally, Aaron Renier and Will Dinski, followed by an 8pm party at the 501 Club with Radio K DJs, Dreamland Faces, The Great Confinement and more great local bands playing into the night.
